The place where creativity and connection meet
THE FIRST STITCH
Founded in 2016, A House Called Hue began as an online marketplace for bespoke Afro-inspired apparel and accessories. But from the beginning, the vision was never just about products. The goal was to create a home for creativity, a space where artists, entrepreneurs, and community builders could connect, collaborate, and share their gifts.
The name reflects that original idea. A House Called Hue was always meant to bring together different people, perspectives, and stories, each adding their own unique hue to the culture being built.
CONNECTING THE THREADS
The embroidery machine was originally intended to be just one tool inside that larger vision. But as demand grew, A House Called Hue evolved into a trusted embroidery partner, serving hundreds of brands, organizations, schools, and entrepreneurs through custom apparel and merchandise.
Today, we're expanding beyond the stitch and returning to the heart of the original mission. Through live activations, workshops, collaborations, and community experiences, we're creating opportunities for people to connect, learn, and build something meaningful together. The embroidery was the first thread. The house was always the dream.
